After the success of our partnership with FareShare last Christmas where we were able to provide more than 5,000 meals to charities tackling food poverty in the UK, we decided to do it again this year to see if we can help even MORE!
WHY is zenb DOING THIS?
There’s nothing better than digging into a mountain of Christmas dinner with your family and collapsing on the sofa when you’ve eaten too much. Or that moment when you’ve saved a huge amount on that TV you wanted on Black Friday.
However much we love Black Friday deals and Christmas presents, we can’t deny that with them comes mass purchase and effectively, mass waste. So we’ve taken a deeper look into the effects that taking part in Black Friday this year may have and voted against it.

That’s why this year we’re aiming to “ZENBe-Good”, ditching the Black Friday deals and the Christmas advent calendar and giving back to our nation.
We’re teaming up with FareShare to launch our “ZENBe-Good Month”. For every order placed of our Yellow Pea Pasta from 26th November until the end of the year, we’ll donate one meal through FareShare who redistribute surplus food to charities that turn it into meals.
WHAT FARESHARE DO AND HOW WE ARE HELPING FUND IT
FareShare is a charity network which acts as an intermediary between brands and charities. By collecting food waste across the UK and delivering to charities such as food shelters, FareShare have been able to achieve some pretty impressive stats. The equivalent of 131.9 million meals have been provided to vulnerable people and we want to help to keep it growing.
That’s why we’ll be donating money to FareShare, for every order placed we’ll be donating the equivalent of one meal.
