We would like you to think of this month's ZENB 10 as a moment of distraction and a guide to inspire you in times of change and uncertainty, it is important to enjoy the small moments and appreciate the here and now. Take a moment and unlock your inner child at Gravity Active, treat your friends (or yourself) to a Purezza (plot spoiler we are now on the menu!) or even it may be as simple as a brand new notebook. Whatever it is, here at ZENB we are always here to help.

WHAT TO BUY? - Beach Clean Notebook
That new notebook feeling!
Who doesn't love that feeling of a fresh new notebook.....ahhh. It's exciting, there is so much potential, so much promise, so much freedom, so many possibilities - the start of a new venture or project, or simply time to get that little bit more organised using those clean crisp pages....a new beginning being born on those blank pages.
So bottle those feelings and times it by a hundred knowing that your notepad is actually planet friendly and making a difference, a small difference sure, but still a difference. That's the feeling we got when we uncovered the Liga Beach Clean notepad! Appearance wise, it's multi coloured & looks stunning and because each one is one-of-a-kind it feels very special. It's A5 and it's made from natural sustainably sourced cork and recycled EVA plastics (like flip flops) plus the inside pages are made using recycled paper. Recycling waste materials and turning them into beautiful usable everyday products is a key part of Liga's sustainable journey - and we salute them, a job very well done!
What more could you want from a notebook 😊
WHERE TO GO? - Purezza
Obsessive about ingredients, meticulous about preparation, and passionate about sustainability. Purezza started with a simple question: how do you do pizza better?
As the largest vegan restaurant in London, they aim to replicate traditional Italian cuisine, allowing you to enjoy the same food tastes, with significantly less emissions. Did you know that plant based food has the smallest carbon footprint of all food groups, generating a whooping 41.7 percent smaller volume of greenhouse gases than meat alone.
On top of all this, the gang at Purezza were do impressed with our single ingredient gluten free pasta have asked to include it on their menu, specifically in the form of their new and improved Mac & Cheese - Made with our ZENB gluten-free macaroni, vegan pancetta and cheese. Yum!
Find the restaurant in Camden, Bristol, Hove, Manchester and Brighton - order the Mac & cheese (of course!) and let us know what you think!

WHAT TO DRINK - Medahuman
Everyone bangs on about CBD but it’s tricky to find a CBD drink which doesn’t contain lots of added nasties. Our friends Medahuman sent us some of their CBD wellness drinks to try and we were pleasantly surprised! Each drink holds 20mg of micro-encapsulated CBD, botanicals to restore balance to the mind and body and they’re also low sugar! Each flavour serves their own purpose: Relax, Recover, Night, Energy and Glow, to cover your every emotion.

WHAT TO EAT? - Spinach
Our September in season vegetable is the mighty green spinach! Most famously eaten by the Popeye - the cartoon sailor which first came to light in 1929. Surprisingly Popeye was not created to sell spinach, just a happy coincidence due to its high nutritional value of being rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, iron, folate, and potassium and of course full of fibre.
If all this talk of spinach has got you craving the superfood, why not try our tasty spinach stuffed shells, an easy and healthy vegetarian dinner recipe that can be prepared in advance!
FUN FACT: During Medieval times, the green pigment extracted from spinach was used as ink for artwork
WHAT TO LISTEN TO? - Daft Punk - Get Lucky
If you get the chance, check out Daft Punk's new single "Get Lucky" - its the song of the summer! ;)
WHAT TO WATCH - The Dropout (Disney Plus)
Shout out to team member Alyse!
When we were doing our recommendations a few months ago, she threw this into the mix and i pooh pooed it.
"yeah, sounds fine... but I've seen the documentary and I think I've got all I need on this story from that"
More fool me.
For those less than "up" on the ins and outs of the biotech industry in silicon valley, this tells the story of Elizabeth Holmes and her company "THERANOS" who were involved in one of the biggest corporate scandals of the 2010s.
A dropout from University she parlayed her idea for blood testing technology into a multi-billion pound business.
At the risk of spoilers, the technology didn't work and never worked.
Whilst the documentary is still also a great watch, this dramatization really goes that extra mile in fleshing out the main characters involved and giving an idea of their motivations and relationships. It also goes a little way to explaining THAT voice!
The two together are a great insight into Tech Firm culture, but The Dropout is really good for a gripping midweek drama binge.
Its on Disney Plus, check it out the trailer!
WHAT TO READ - Where the Crawdads Sing
If you love murder mystery novals then this is for you! ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ is a beautifully told story by American author Delia Owens. It may take a few chapters to get going but it's well worth the wait, the mysterious story follows two timelines that slowly start to intertwine.
The first describes the life and rather rough start of a young girl named Kya as she grows up isolated in the boggy marshes of North Carolina. The second timeline follows an investigation into the murder of Chase Andrews, a local celebrity of Barkley Cove, a fictional coastal town of North Carolina. Recently adapted into a much awaited movie, produced by Reece Witherspoon, it might be tempting but it's definitely worth reading first, nothing beats the wonders of your own imagination getting lost in a book.
